First son of minor nobles, Sebastien experienced the typical upbringing of an aspiring knight. He squired for several prominent individuals, eventually earning his own knighthood by 18.The ultimate goal, of course, was to eventually become one of the Knights of the Heavens' Ward. Though Sebastien fought hard and made a name for himself within the Temple Knights, Ishgard's false version of history and the Archbishop's treachery were revealed before he could even dream of forging ahead.It was, perhaps, for the best. Sebastien found himself unable to sit by and allow Ishgard to remain tainted by centuries of lies. He stayed with the Temple Knights and fought alongside his Lord Commander for the true freedom of his home.Somewhere between his fledgling knighthood and the end of his second tour, Sebastien met and affianced the woman he wanted to come back to. She'd come crashing into his life like a downed airship, and she became his reason to keep fighting. Their relationship had been turbulent from the beginning; but, it wasn't until he found out she'd had a son with his brother that he finally walked away.Now, with the peace established and the thrum of war no longer buzzing in his ears, his heart empty of guilt, Sebastien trains young, aspiring knights in the art of swordplay. Dragons were not the only threat to Ishgard or the world at large, after all.

Sebastien is approachable, even if he doesn't always look like it. Sorry, that's just his face.You might know him from having seen him around or worked with him in Ishgard, whether as a current or former knight yourself or one who has a hand in training the new recruits for the new Ishgard's defense.He's a touch introverted, and a very private individual. If you ask him personal questions, he will likely evade answering, or simply respond with A Look.While not exactly easy-going, Sebastien is relatively laid back--at least on the surface. He can be quite awkward; however, as his compliments tend to miss their marks and normal social cues fly right by him.He walks with a bit of a limp, favoring his left leg. He also suffers from rather severe tinnitus and will probably lean over to hear you.
